So it’s not the usual monochromatic color palette I resort to, but a floral explosion of blue on my tunic. Sometimes it’s good to keep nontraditional pieces like this tucked away in your wardrobe to keep people on their toes! I scored this vintage number at one of my ALL TIME fav boutiques in Baton Rouge called Time Warp. Holy hell, do they have a selection of amazing vintage. There have been many occasions I have driven all the way from NOLA just to shop here.. and I never leave this store without buying something!
When I was putting this look together, I was really feeling the whole 70s/oriental vibe. Even more so with these sandals by Dries Van Noten that haven’t left my feet for the past month I’ve owned them. The great thing about this top is that it can be worn with denim shorts for a funky, super casual look – but also with high-waisted black pants and heels to even be considered as cocktail. My photographer, Cody Willhite, and I came across this abandoned wall with graffiti all over it when shooting and the scenery couldn’t have been more perfect for this look. It immediately brought me back to the days of Sailor Moon, THE BEST.
